4.1Exiled Star
From the moment of its birth, the Exiled Star possessed two peculiar companion moons. One situated in the east, translucent and crystal-clear, later dubbed the "Moon of Clarity." The other positioned in the west, swirling with shades of purple like glass, named the "Moon of Glaze".
Despite their small appearance, these two stars harbored immense and volatile power. Especially at the moment when the twin moons converged each month, the intense white light emitted by the "Moon of Clarity" clashed with the dense purple light emitted by the "Moon of Glaze," intertwining as if ancient enemies locked in an endless battle, releasing unreserved fury. Those who witnessed this scene felt as if they were witnessing the clash of gods and demons. People speculated that rather than two mere celestial bodies, these were two prisons containing ancient wisdom locked in an eternal struggle.
Numerous civilizations emerged on the Exiled Star under the illumination of the 'Moon of Clarity' and the 'Moon of Glaze.' Sages and philosophers observed these celestial bodies, attempting to explain the phenomenon with their limited cognitive abilities. People gradually discovered that both the 'Moon of Clarity' and the 'Moon of Glaze' continuously emitted energy. Upon studying the captured energy, it was discovered that it could empower individuals, enable the use of magic, and even resurrect the dead.
However, people failed to realize that the star's energy not only granted power and abilities but also influenced their hearts. When close to the 'Moon of Clarity', hearts were bright and colourful. However, when close to the 'Moon of Glaze', hearts turned evil and corrupt. These two extreme forces, perfectly complementing yet fundamentally conflicting, seemed irreconcilable.
As time passed, those affected by the energy gradually divided into two factions. Initially, conflicts were minor. But as more individuals joined either side, an endless war between the two factions loomed on the horizon.
